# Requirements to Graduate

All students will need to meet the following degree requirements in order to successfully earn the MSBS degree:

* Complete a minimum of 36 graduate credits
* Complete the Core Curriculum with an average grade of B (3.0) or higher 
* Must achieve an average GPA of at least a 3.0.
* Complete a written thesis (Track 1) or a capstone project (Tracks 2, 3, and 4)
* Successfully defend the thesis or capstone 
* Deposit the accepted and approved thesis or capstone 
* Complete and submit the [Application for Degree Conferral](https://mountsinai.formstack.com/forms/application_for_degree_conferral)
* Complete and submit the [Commencement Ceremony Participation](https://mountsinai.formstack.com/forms/commencement_ceremony_participation)
