# Curriculum

### How to Read the Course Lists Below

Courses are organized by trimester to give you structure and guidance. You do not have to take all courses listed in a trimester. Instead, you select the courses that work for your schedule and learning goals each term. For example, you might take just 1–2 courses (4–6 credits) in one trimester if you are busy with work, and then take 3–4 courses (7–12 credits) in the next trimester. Continue selecting courses each term until you reach 44 credits and are ready to graduate.

### Required Courses Organized by Trimester Offering

Total available across all terms: 40 credits. To reach the 44-credit minimum for your degree, you will select from these courses and add 2+ credits from the Foundational Managerial Skills Seminars (MHA 500x series) described below, the optional Internship, and the 2-credits Capstone course.

### Foundational Managerial Skills Seminars (MHA 500x Series)

You must complete a minimum of 2 credits from the Foundational Managerial Skills Seminars. These focused, practical modules address key leadership competencies and are offered throughout the year. You may take additional seminars beyond the 2-credit minimum if they align with your goals, but extra seminar credits may not substitute for any required course listed above.

Available seminars include:

• MHA 5001: DiSC Assessment and Communication Styles (0.5 credits)

• MHA 5003: Managing Effective Teams (0.5 credits)

### Mentorship Program (MHA 7000)

Mentors provide professional guidance, networking, and career formation support through monthly cohort meetings and individual mentoring. This required program is registered as a 0-credit course and appears on your transcript. The program continues across all three trimesters of your first year.

#### Matching timeline

• Students beginning in Fall are matched at the start of Fall Trimester

• Students beginning in Spring 1 (January) are matched at the start of the following Fall Trimester, alongside the incoming Fall cohort
